We hope you enjoyed the end of another fabulous school year and are enjoying summer break. We want to thank all of you who volunteered to help with the various PTO efforts this school year. We couldn’t have done it without you. Your generously donated PTO dollars have been spent to fund the initial installation of D181’s first weCreate Lab, which will be installed in the MRC over the summer. Much more to come on this special STEAM initiative and fundraising efforts to further support and enhance this project debuting in the fall!
Also, we wanted to say a huge Madison “thank you” to the 5th grade graduating class of 2017 for their generous donation to the weCreate Lab. Your thoughtful gift to the school will be put to great use starting this fall and for many years to come!
Lastly, we are looking for a chair(s) for our Mentor Committee. The Mentor Committee assists new Madison families in acclimating to Madison, as well as to the Hinsdale community. We want to have a committee leader in place prior to the start of the new school year. If you are interested, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our weekly eBlast will be on a hiatus during July but we will continue to let you know of any important happenings when they arise. Additionally, the Madison PTO’s website provides updated information for new and returning families throughout the summer, so check there anytime for valuable resources and updated info.
