We Need YOU!!
High Interest Day (HID) is on Friday, May 29! Year after year, students say that this is one of their FAVORITE memories from Madison School!
HID is a “career day” for students in grades 3-5 . Students select from a variety of career, hobby, sports and food classes. NEW this year, we are adding classes that highlight various cultures! This day is such an incredible experience for our students, but it doesn’t happen without YOUR HELP! Parents, if you or someone you know can teach a class on a particular career, sport or special interest, please let us know! We need your creative ideas to continue to make this fun and exciting for the students. Classes in the past have included: Mock Trial, Emergency Room Medicine, Stormchasing, Cartoon Voices, Dissecting the Eye, Learn to be a Vet, Special Agents Class, Design Your Brand, BBQ Grilling, Baking in a Cup. Fencing, Taewkondo, Pickleball, and much much more.
If you are interested in presenting, click here to fill out a presenter form by March 1. A member of the HID committee will reach out to you with more information. If you have questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
*Please note that 1st and 2nd graders will be on school field trips that day. Parents who plan to chaperone the field trips won’t be able to be presenters.
Thank you very much!
