The Hinsdale Public Library will be visiting Madison School on Tuesday, May 29th to speak with all grade levels about their Summer Reading Program. Last year, Madison School won the traveling trophy for having the most participants out of all the District 181 schools. We hope Madison students will sign-up again this year!
In addition, the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) has just issued their summer reading lists for children. The brochures are divided up between birth through preschool, K through 2nd grade, 3rd through 5th grade, and 6th through 8th grade. These lists were put together with input from kids all over the country and include many interesting books from all genres.
Happy summer reading!
