Principal’s Corner

Welcome Back Madison Families,

I want to officially welcome everyone, including our new Madison families, to the 2020-2021 school year!  We are very excited to have our in person and remote learners back and are ready to take on the challenge of this unique school year. This experience has taught me how resilient and caring the Madison community is – the level of support from and for our teachers and our sense of community continues to amaze me.

The staff and I have been busy planning and preparing for the first day of school for both hybrid and remote students on September 8, 2020.  Thank you so much for your patience and support as we continue to navigate this school year together!

IMPORTANT Changes for Arrival and Dismissal
Due to increased safety measures, our arrival and dismissal procedures need to be altered to keep cohorts of students together and safely distanced both inside and outside. While I realize this will be a change and might result in families needing to use different entry/dismissal doors, it is the safest way to allow our students to enter and exit the building. More detailed maps and information will follow and signs will be posted on the first day of school.

Class Placement
I will communicate AM/PM placement and teacher information as soon as possible, with the goal being mid-next week. Due to the tight timeline, notification may be available in Skyward or could come in an email from either myself or Mrs. Zimmerman (our building secretary).
