Fall MAP Reports
The fall administration of Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) for 2nd-8th grade students and MAP for Primary Grades (MPG) for 1st grade students has ended. If your child is enrolled as a hybrid student, a score report was sent home in his/her backpack Friday, October 9. If your child is enrolled in parallel remote, score reports were mailed via USPS on Thursday, October 8.

Our District uses the data from this assessment in a variety of ways. In the classroom, it provides teachers with a means for monitoring student growth in reading and mathematics over time. At the District and building levels, MAP data help us set goals and evaluate initiatives. Finally, in conjunction with other criteria, MAP scores may be considered when providing intervention and in course placement decisions.

During the 2020-2021 school year, it is anticipated that MAP will be administered two additional times. Students in grades 1-5 will be administered the assessment in January as well as in April.

If you have specific questions pertaining to your child’s growth and achievement, please just let us know.
