The Madison Season of Science is quickly approaching!
We kick things off right after the new year with Madison School’s S.T.E.A.M. Event on Monday, January 8th. This day features twelve hands-on STEAM experiments presented by our generous volunteers! Students will visit during their scheduled PE time. Parent, Grandparent or High School volunteers are needed to help present. If interested, please signup via signup genius link: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0e4aafab2ba7f94-2018.
***This is a great way to see the joy simple science experiments can spark a love and curiosity of science in our students. No science background needed, we will have simple instructions and questions you can use to help the kids explore each station.
The STEAM event gets kids excited to participate in the annual Madison School Science Fair, held on Thursday, February 15th from 6:30-8:30 PM in the Madison gym. A detailed schedule is provided in the Science Fair Participant Instructions, also linked below.
The Science Fair is open to ALL students, and group projects are welcome! One registration per student is required.
