Volunteer Information

Listed below are some of the key positions we need to fill as soon as possible:

ROOM PARENTS:  Room parents are needed at all grade levels.  No experience needed.  This position is a great way to get a little more exposure to what is going on in the classroom, get to know your child’s teacher a little better, and have some fun with the kids.  Your responsibilities include working with the teacher in your child’s classroom to organize holiday parties, arrange field trip chaperones and other special events, and communicate with other parents about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.

DASH N’ BASH:  Our annual community fun run that is followed by outdoor fun at Madison school, inflatables, games, pizza, hot dogs and more is scheduled for Sunday September 15th.  This is a fantastic event and a fun day that the whole family can enjoy together.  Volunteers are needed to organize both the run portion of the day – including the route and refreshments after the race, as well as the bash portion of the day – including food, inflatables, cookie walk, and teacher donated auction items.

PARENT NIGHT:  Every other year the PTO puts on a night to remember for the parents.  This fun event is a great opportunity for parents to meet and mingle, eat, drink, dance and of course raise money for a great cause – Madison School.  Volunteers are needed to help plan, organize, decorate, and more.

Some of the other available positions that also need volunteers:
