Join the HMS PTO — Volunteer Opportunities for 2026-27!

Dear Madison 5th Grade Families,

As your child prepares for the exciting transition to Hinsdale Middle School, we'd love for you to get involved with the HMS PTO!

We are currently recruiting volunteers for the 2026-27 school year and have a wonderful variety of committees to fit every interest and schedule. Whether you have a few hours to spare or are looking for a more hands-on role, there is a place for you.

Spirit Day - March 6th

Our winter raffle spirit day winner, Farrah Foster, has chosen our first spirit day theme…

MISMATCH DAY!! ✨

📅 Date: Friday, March 6th 
👕 Theme: Wear your craziest mismatched outfit — bright colors, wild patterns, different shoes — the more mixed up, the better! 

Students and teachers are invited to participate. We can’t wait to see your mismatched masterpieces!

PTO Executive Board Nominations

With the arrival of Spring the PTO Executive Board has started planning for next year! We are looking for dedicated and supportive parents who want to join the Executive Board for the upcoming '26-'27 school year. Open positions include:
-Secretary
-Asst. Treasurer
-Asst. Enrichment
-Asst. Fundraising
-Communications

Coin Drive for the Hinsdale Humane Society

During the week of March 2nd-March 6th, Kids Care Club will collect coins to benefit Therapaws Pet Therapy visits by the Hinsdale Humane Society. Each classroom will have a box for donations. Please encourage your kids to search for coins in couch cushions and under car seats to support this great cause!

The total raised will be announced on Friday, March 6th.
