Cultural Night
We are so excited to host Madison School’s second annual Cultural Night on Thursday, November 6th from 6:00-7:30pm. This will be an evening of cultural immersion, as we explore the many heritages of our community.
Participation is crucial to this event, so please sign up to share your country, culture, and heritage with us! You are also welcome to share a country if it is a place you have lived or visited. For more information and to sign up, please click HERE.

Bike Rodeo
Congratulations to all Bike Rodeo participants who earned their license on Tuesday!
Thank you to King Keyser for inspecting bicycles, the Hinsdale Police Department for registering bikes, and our many parent volunteers who completed bike safety instructions with our students!
A special thank you to Nisha Soung, Liesl Tatarowicz, and Mala Thapar for organizing the event!
Centennial Celebration
You are invited to celebrate 100 years of Madison School on Saturday, September 20th from 11:00-2:00pm!
Take a historical tour, see the legacy timeline, share memories, view the time capsule, take photos, and sing the school song on the front steps at 12:45pm.
Food & refreshments will be available for purchase from Beach Ave BBQ, Tacos Los Jarochitos, and Little Luxe Stacks.
Community Speaker Series
Announcing the Community Speaker Series lineup for the 2025-2026 season! The D181 Foundation is thrilled to welcome these top experts to our community this school year.
The first event is on Wednesday, October 8th at 7:15pm at Hinsdale Middle School featuring Ethan Kross, PhD - Shift: Managing Emotions So They Don’t Manage You. Please register HERE.
The Community Speaker Series is committed to fostering a sense of community through hosting in-person and virtual events that inform and inspire. CSS is funded jointly by District 86 and District 181 and is supported by the D181 Foundation. Our events are free and open to the public. We encourage everyone to join our events, connect and learn together.
