SIGN UP FOR ORANGE RULER BY 9/26

Our Orange Ruler fundraising drive to raise $35,000 is going so well and we are excited to be raising important funds to help us invest in both educational enhancements for students and teachers as well as PTO programs for our school. Did you know that the PTO spends on average $250 per child at Madison to put on assemblies, events, give back to teachers for classroom needs and more?
 
So how can you help? This fundraiser is so easy - only a few minutes to register online at www.orangeruler.com/signup, add a donation and then add some email addresses of friends of family. That’s it. And doing this extra step of simply adding email addresses of friends and family (emails only used for this program and not for marketing whatsoever) is so helpful as it rapidly multiplies our progress towards our school goal. Donations are 100% tax deductible. 
Prizes that the kids are excited about:
  • JAMBA JUICE PARTY - the top THREE classes that send out the most invites by Tues, 9/26 will win a Jamba Juice Party in their classroom.
  • KONA ICE TRUCK - every class that meets their goal will get to enjoy Kona Shaved Ice at recess after 10/5.
  • MS. SHANAHAN AS A UNICORN - if the school meets its goal of $35,000 she will dress as a unicorn for an entire day.

Art Awareness Volunteer Sign Up and Kickoff Meeting

Thank you to everyone who signed up to help with the Art Awareness program! Many classes still have openings, and we encourage you to sign up as a Classroom Volunteer HERE. No experience is necessary and all presentations, lesson materials, and project supplies are provided.

Kickoff Meeting: Volunteers, please mark your calendars for Thursday, September 28th at 2pm for an Art Awareness Kickoff meeting in the Madison Staff Center. Be sure to bring your driver's license for the new check-in procedure. Contact artawareness@madisonpto.org with questions or for more information.

Madison 4th/5th Grade Chorus - Sign Up Now!

It's that time of year! All Madison 4th and 5th grade students are invited to join chorus, which will be held every Thursday morning from 8-8:30. We will have our first rehearsal on October 5th. Please read all of the details on the attached form which details all of our rehearsals, performances, and our chorus fee, and if you are interested, please sign-up HERE.
